 This week fro Play, Make, Create we read a book called We are all EQUAL. It was a story about if someone is bigger or smaller than you we are all still equal and it doesn't matter about the size you are.   I worked with Kiarna. We made a playground for a snake that we called Snorty and a panda that we called Dotty. We did those animals because they aren't exactly the same they both have a difference like they eat and do different things. My favourite part was the swing that we made. I think that next time we should try to add a bit more colour or add some of the animals friends. We also made a rock climbing wall.

 

 This week for Play, Make, Create I made a rainbow collage. I go put into a group with the teachers to help me with my learning a bit because I haven't really been getting my work done but today I worked by my self I think for now on I should start working by myself. When I started making the rainbow I just drew lines so  it would of been just a colour chart not a rain bow collage. I had so much fun doing this. this week. My favourite part was probably cutting and gluing the pictures from the magazines. 

 This week for Whetu Challenge we did Can you Build This which is where we had to work in 4's or 3's and had to make tower out of newspaper . I worked with Brooklyn, Olivia.M, and Katara. We had a bit of struggle at the start and then we figured some different ways to try to build. Katara was cutting and giving the sellotape to us and Olivia was making the tower, Brooklyn and I were rolling the newspaper tightly. I had the best time. This week was a lot better than last week because last week I worked with a couple of people that did not work really well. We make a frame this time and it made the tower stand very good but at the end when we had to finish up it fell over.

This week for Play, Make, Create I worked with Azahliah and we made a necklace out of wool we also made a bracelet. The book we read was called Theodore the Unsure By Pip Smith. It was about a lion who had a massive mane that grew and grew he was also the king of the Savannah. He cut his mane off and gave it to the snakes for wigs, The Penguins also had a wool jacket and so did the Polo Bears. I think the hardest part was poking the string through the very small hole. I hope Ms. Coles likes it. The easiest part was probably the watercolor. My favorite is going to be giving it to Ms. Coles. 

Friday the 14th 2021   So last year we had a kite day but it happened when we were in lock down and some people were at school but not many.Last week on Friday we had another kite day we made the kites in Whetu Challenge time we had two hours to make our kites and I worked with Heidi. The materials we use were Paper, Felts, Bamboo, Ribbon, String, one Stick and Duct tape. The challenging part was probably sticking the ribbon onto the paper with the duct tape because the tape didn't quite stick and I was getting a bit frustrated so I stuck another piece of tape on. Our Kite didn't fly on Friday but on Monday it was a bit windy so everyone in our class and flew there kites and most of them flew with the wind like ours did. I think the reason why our kite didn't really fly was because the duct tape was a bit too heavy.

 This Week for Play, Make, Create,  I worked with Bella and George and we made a massive hutt with 2 rooms and a washing line.  The book that we watched was called Be You it was about being yourself.  the Challenging part was clipping the pegs to the trees because the trees are thin and the pegs just slipped off when the wind blew.  The easiest part was probably making the washing line.  I decided  to work with different people this time because I wanted to see who I could work with better. We use pool noodles, tarpaulin's, string, pillows and pegs.
