Whetu Fun Day


Last Thursday we had a Whetu Fun Day as our camp was postponed.  Our teachers planned a fun day for us instead!  We participated in a Whetu Amazing Race, a range of different fun rotations, a BBQ lunch and play on the council playground then we finished the day with an Easter Egg hunt and an ice block.


My favourite part of the Amazing Race was working in a team with people that I had never really worked with. Working as a team and if one of us got stuck we would help each other. In my team there was 6 of us Kiarna, Azahliah , Eleanor, Uvini, Levi D and Myself. Our Coach was Rachel.


The rotation I enjoyed the most was Picasso Bunnies with Mrs Loft because I wanted to try something different and new because I am not really a person that likes to draw but I found it really fun.


During the Easter Egg Hunt I found my stick in the picnic table by the Hall Deck I was the 1 st girl back even though Mrs Kennedy Called the Year 6's last.

Inquiry (Should Animals Be kept in Zoos)

This is my Inquiry for this term and I think zoos are good for animals because they get lots of food and they can live longer only if they do not hurt themselves. Otherwise, I think zoos are good for animals.    There are a lot of animals that have to get put down at the zoo because they are either sick they have hurt themselves.  I also think that zoos are good for animals because the animal at the zoo get a diet if they are really big meaning fat and if they are not on a diet they will either get a feed or find there own food and water but there is always food in their little thing that they can a little nap in a hide in.  We could either do an Ad or a Poster or a Brouchre I chose to do a poster 1. Animals should be in zoos so they can get feed and they can not get hurt by there animals that they hate or do not like and those animals do not like them!!!! 2. Zoos are good because if we go to zoos we can see the wild animals in the zoo so we do not have to go to other places and visit
